This Privacy Policy covers how Glimpse Software Corporation ("Glimpse") handles personal data when you interact with the Glimpse Website, Web Application, APIs and the other products, services, features, technologies and software we offer (the "Glimpse Products" or "Products"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to how third parties define personal data or how they use it. We encourage you to read their privacy policies and know your privacy rights before interacting with them.
Personal Data Glimpse collects from you
The types of data Glimpse collects depend on the nature of your interaction with us. Personal data is information that can identify an individual or information about an identifiable individual. Glimpse may collect personal data such as:
- Account Information: Email address, registered devices and account status
- Device Information: Data from which your device could be identified, such as device serial number, or about your device, such as browser type
- Contact Information: Data such as name, email address, physical address, phone number, or other contact information
- Payment Information: Data about your billing address and method of payment, such as your credit card brand or the bank you use. Further payment details may be stored by our billing provider Stripe.
- Fraud Prevention Information: Data used to help identify and prevent fraud, including a device trust score and geolocation
- Usage Data: Data about your activity on Glimpse, including browsing history, search history, interactions, crash data, performance data, diagnostic data and other usage data
- Personal Preferences: Data about your personal choices, including language preferences, UI personalizations and marketing consent
You are not required to provide the personal data that we have requested. However, if you choose not to do so, in many cases we will not be able to provide you with our products or services or respond to requests you may have.
How Glimpse uses Personal Data
Glimpse uses personal data to power our Products, to process your transactions, to communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, improve our offering, and to comply with law. We may also use personal data for other purposes with your consent.
Personalization
Glimpse will use information that we collect so that we can offer you personalized services or communications. This can include onboarding customization, "white-glove" services, advertising preferences, cookie preferences and product recommendations.
Process Transactions
In order to process transactions, such as purchasing a subscription, Glimpse must collect data, such as your name, address and payment information. This data is required to successfully process a transaction with your payment provider and comply with local and international compliance laws.
Security and Fraud Prevention
Glimpse may use data to protect individuals, employees, and Glimpse to prevent fraud, including prescreening or scanning uploaded content for potentially illegal content, including child sexual exploitation material.
Important communication with you
From time to time, Glimpse may use your personal data to send important notices, such as communications about purchases and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. Because this information is important to your interaction with Glimpse, you may not opt out of receiving these important notices.
Voluntary Customer Research
Glimpse may use contact information collected to conduct occasional surveys and other customer research. These surveys are entirely voluntary and you may easily decline to participate. The information obtained through our surveys and customer research is used to help us understand our users, to enhance our offerings and improve the usability of Glimpse.

Glimpse does not sell or rent your personal data to any other party. However, in the normal course of business, we may share personal data with services providers, our partners, developers, and publishers, or others.
Our service providers, partners, developers and publishers may be located outside of Canada or the United Sates and this may result in personal data being stored or processed outside of Canada and the Unites States, and, as a result, your personal information may be accessible to law enforcement, courts, and regulatory authorities in accordance with the law of these foreign jurisdictions.
Glimpse may engage third parties to act as our service providers and perform certain tasks on our behalf, such as processing or storing data, including personal data, in connection with your use of our services and delivering products to customers.

The security of your personal data is a priority for Glimpse. We maintain appropriate physical, technical, and administrative safeguards and industry-standard security standards in an effort to protect your personal information in our custody and control, whether recorded on paper or captured electronically, against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Glimpse uses encryption technology to protect your personal information during data transport. Such technology encrypts ordering information such as your name, address, and credit card number.
